EGR Code 32, Runs fine though?

I've had the code 32 for a while now. The check engine light only comes on when the car is cold... and stays on until the next start, where it doesn't come on at all. Car shows no running difference when the light is on or off. Both ways it runs great. The big orange glow is just wants annoying me. How do I check for things, before I go randomly replacing the solenoid, and valve, and taking the plenum off etc.

Nobody wants to reply o this topic because it has been on here so many times. My suggestion is to go to the tech articles on this site and read the article dedicated to your exact question. If that does not answer your question, come on back with specifics and someone will give you some help.

If you removed the smog equipment on a tpi you will get an intermittent code 32 but nothing is wrong. Just clear the code and don't worry about it.

I haven't removed anything. I've checked for vacuum leaks, visually. Nothing wrong. I'm going to take the Plenum off to port and polish it... should I just go ahead and replace the valve, solenoid and check the connections more efficiently? Are those the only 3 things that can set off the code? I would assume it's the original EGR with 127k on the car.
