LBC,
Oops! You're right, and I'm a dope...
I keep getting the "early years" all messed up, especially when it comes to the fuel/comtrol systems. It's all good, since we still all like to see the other years of 'F' cars represented here, along with just about everything else that gets mixed in (like the Lumina).
It's STILL not technical, so I locked instead of deleting it.
It's too bad that the forum for the less-technical posts got removed, but it got a little out of control and degenerated to name-calling and slander. Dirk wants to have a relatively pure technical site, and asked that the other moderators and I keep tabs on the content to make sure it stays mainly technical.
It's not a personal thing at all, since I'd like to see you continue to post here. Just find a clever way to make it technical if you have to. It would be interesting to see what you can do with an '82 sporting a well-built 350.
Incidentally, anyone that wants to comment can hit your email or you are welcome to post a similar topic at www.nethirdgen.org. MacGyver has graciously agreed to host all non-technical threads from TGO members, since he has more time to police the more slanderous "junk" that some people post there.

That question (regarding the value of the '82 Camaro) might possibly qualify to be posted in the History Board. I think those are valid questions and are technical in nature, just not in the particular board. That's why I am suggesting the History Board.
A thought.

Glenn,
I'll buy that. Topic open and transferred.
See, even intergalactic overlords can be reasoned with at times....
