any parts stores sell an oil pressure gauge?

lookin for a gauge to hook up to the block to test the pressure. anyone bought one anywhere besides from the tool trucks?? i've seen compression and FP testers at parts stores but no oil pressure testers. i'd like to get one to test it out myself instead of bringing it to a shop.

TIA

you might check a local parts store.... they should usually keep at least one type of gauge in stock.

at the napa store where i work, i keep a couple different mechanical gauges in stock... there's also a couple stewart warner gauges i keep in stock. i can also order stewart warner, vdo siemens, and autometer....

it'd be harder to find a parts store that didn't have some sort of oil gauge, for that matter any gauge that reads in PSI would work. be best if it had 1/8 NPT.

even walmart has mechanical gauges in stock....

i'm pretty sure that the mechanical gauge kit should come with any needed adapters to connect the gauge.

also, when you get the oil gauge... be careful with the nylon line that connects the gauge to the fittings... it kinks very easily.
