? on a some heads
hey i have a set of heads i belive they are from a 5.0 tpi motor but the block of the motor says 5.0 lg and my lo3 motor just says 5.0 wat does lg mean?

production code, all SBC heads will bolt up to any block. only thing to watch for is the intake bolts holes may be differant and not match your induction system. casting numbers on the heads mean a lot more than numbers on the block.

Not much. It has nothing to do with the heads in any case. Lots of blocks, of all sorts, have that. I don't know of anything that it stands for or any other useful info to be derived from it.
