For about a week now when I am sitting at a light and it turns green and I press the gas to go my accelarates as if I have a honda or something.The RPM's go up to about 3200 and then it shifts and when it shifts it really shifts hard. It takes about 2 blocks to get up to 40 mph. Usually I get to 35 by the time Im at the other side of the intersection. Anybody have any hints please?

 

Is you cat clogged? that makes things bad. Is it running rough? CHeck thecat first. first check if there is a good ammount of exhasut coming out of the pipes. if there isn't then check the cat. if it is REALLY hot then it's most likely clogged. replace it or hollow it out. Your car will go again.
