462624 heads UGH...... Now what?

Car: 1989 IROC--1989 T/A
Engine: 5.7 TPI in both
Transmission: W/C T-5 in both
Axle/Gears: B/W 3.27 in both
462624 heads UGH...... Now what?

I apparently am "GIFTED", IN THAT THE THE 86 TPI CORVETTE MOTOR CAME WITH 462624 HEADS.
What I am curious about is how did these tragedies, as i have heard them called, make the same power as my '89 IROC, with the 64 cc, 083 heads. I know there are other factors like camshaft, factory VETTE" headers".
I am really bummed again. I had planned to make the car quicker by getting tranny and suspension upgrades, that can be easily removed, and put on the 'roc when i go home. Now I have this anemia.....
Ok how is it the heads suck so bad, yet made "decent" power?
And the cam swap next year may come witha head sweap also.

They DON'T make the same power as your IROC, you can bet on that. Those heads didn't come on that car. They've been swapped on, probably by somebody that thought they had a head problem, and didn't know that all 350 heads aren't the same, and got them real cheap.

Get a set of the later-nodel aluminum heads, casting # 10088113.
