Fitting A mechanical fuel pump to a L98
Does any one know if The L98 fitted in the Gta's have the Hole drilled for the mechanical fuel pump push rod.
I have to fit one of these pumps to go back to a carb setup either that i will need to fit a low pressure electric pump..
But i already have a stock mechanical fuel pump to hand....
Also how did anyone reroot the transmission cooler water pipes which seem to be bolted via a bracket right where the mechanical fuel pump is supposed to fit.
Cant fit the pump as the pipes are in the way and they seem to be steel..

Depends on the year. THey stopped drilling them out in 88 or 89 I think. Take a look at the block. If there is a block off plate, then chances are, the hole is there. No plate, no hole.......
