air conditioning
hey i have a 83 firebird v6 and want to get rid of the AC. do i need to plug any holes and can i keep the belt off of the thing the conditoners hoses run to or does that serve a dual purpose? or can i just totally remove that? thanks eric

the ac belt should just be for that...
your alt belt should control your water pump, and if u plan on using/hooking up your ac in the future, you should cover the openings of the lines so nothing can get into it.
also, be careful when disconnecting the lines as freon is a harmful substance.

were u going to use heat? if so you can get a standard heater box here
