Some basic questions
My new IROC did not come with a manual so please pardon the turnip-truck questions:
1. What kind of gas mileage should an LG4 mated to a T5 tranny get when properly tuned up and driven by an adult (i.e. not leaving tread at every light and stop sign)?
2. What grade of fuel should I use?
3. What RPM is best for cruising to optimize fuel and not damage the engine? Is 1500-2000 RPM at 55 ok to be in 5th?
Thanks!

Oddball,
Don't quote me on this, but I believe that these cars were designed to run on 87 octane, or regular unleaded; anything above that and you're probably wasting your money if you have a stock application. I really can't blame anybody for running higher than that because I run 93 octane exclusively just to feel good
I don't know the answers to your other questions, so one down and a few more to go.
