Finally got the new 406 in and running. Man it sound good, nice lopey idle. If everything goes as planed it should get new exhast on Monday, go to be dyno tuned on Wensday and off to finally get the car painted on Friday. Anway a few guys wanted to see pic when i got it.

I love it! I miss my carbed motor sooo much. Getting married makes you poor, well makes it so you cant use your $$ on as many car parts as much as I used to

Looks great and it sounds like it should scream! That should test the old 700r4, especially with the 200 shot!

 

1.) How did you get your engine bay so pretty?

2.) How in the hell did you fit that engine under your hood? After market?

 

Insomniac92z28 I have no doubt that the Pro-Built 700R-4 will handle the power.

Alot of work, I removed the heat and air and smoothed over the fire wall. Then sprayed everything in PPG delstar paint. I wanted every thing black, so I sparyed the master cylinder and everything. I think that it turned out pretty nice looking overall. No the eninge sits under a SS hood. Heres a before pick of the eninge bay when I got the car.
