Hey guys,

How exactly do I identify my engine? I know it is a 350, supposedly out of an 84 Corvette. I was told it was originally a TBI block which has been swapped to carb. Who knows if the heads are original, but they are cast. Is there a serial number on the block, and if it is a 84 vette motor, how much HP were these stock?? Would I gain or loose HP with my 4-barrel Q-jet set up?

Thanks for any help

there is a pad on the deck surface in front of the right head, number should be stamped there, casting number for the heads are under the valve covers. after you find them look them up on www.mortec.com
