Winter Storage
I'm storing my car in a 2 car unheated garage. It shares this space with my wifes daily driver, so the garage is constantly full of slush, salt and moisture.I try to wash the garage floor once a week and I have a rotating fan on the floor to help circulate the air and dry out the floor.I have heard that storing a car in a garage with a daily driver is not a good Idea because of the reasons stated above, people have told me that it promotes rust. My question is can I do anything else to help prevent rust.Oh yeah the car is not on the road yet so taking it to be rust proofed is not an option.

Zed,
I'm in the US, but live a little north of you. My '86 TA has been winter stored in the garage with daily drivers since it was new. I have no corrosion problems, and the car was never rustproofed beyond the factory paint/clear goo on the underside. The moisture in teh garage is no worse than the condensation you'll get on warm spring days with a cool, garaged car. Remember, any airborne moisture will have evaporated from the floor, which means it is only water. The salt and sand don't evaporate (which is how solar salt is made) so they stay on the floor.
Just keep the car prepared for storage and don't be too concerned about the mess tramped in by the other vehicles.
If storing a car in such a manner is a bad idea, I guess you could park it outside to collect a nice thick insulation blanket of snow. I think you are doing the right thing, especially if you are cleaning the floor periodically.
