Driveability Problems
My IROC seems to idle and accelerate great but "bucks" when cruising. When maintaining speed going up hill it has a faint and occassional miss (like a bump) but when I put the hammer down it runs sweet to 5500 where it shifts. It has new wires, plugs, rotor and cap so I know it has to be something simple that I have overlooked. Ideas?

plugs?, have you checked timing? run a compression test? air and fuel filters?

It ran great before I changed the cam and intake so I assume the compression is good, (ZZ3 motor with few miles) the timing is set at 6 BTDC and it has new filters. The strange part is that it pulls very hard from idle to 5500. It seems like it could be a slight vacuum leak but I sure can't find one.
