How much gain would you get from this??
How much gain would you get from this??
Would you be able to tell any difference if you got a fiberglass hood and an aluminum radiator?

Performance wise....no unless your engine is overheating now and you NEED the extra cooling capacity. Fiberglass hood might make the car look cooler if you get a cowl or ram air one....

i doubt if you save any weight with a aluminum radiator, but you'll save close to 75 pounds over stock with a lift off hood. that's close to a .1 in the 1/4. for the street it wouldn't matter and lift off hoods are a pain except for racing.

ede, the stock hood is only like 36 pounds. A bolt on fiberglass one from Harwood is 1/2 the weight.

I think ede's numbers for the hood are about right. However, the aluminum radiator is also a good 12 pounds lighter than the brass one, so there's a little weight savings there.
