ok i have a 92 3.1 firebird and its like goin crazy... the rpm when im goin like jumps around on the tach but the car doesnt, and it has stalled a few times recently, at a light the car just cuts off and i was like woah... and it wouldnt start up... i would come back later and start it up... whats wrong with it is it the computer, fuel pump... when i try to start it up after it dies it will just keep turning over with out ignition...so and ideas?

are u getting any codes?
when u try starting it back up, are u getting any spark/fuel?
If it turns over, i would suspect a faulty ignition module (they are known to heat-up and fail)
can you hear your fuel pump prime? maybe you should check your fuel pressure, your pump could be your problem as well

worship that page
how to retrieve codes is under the MISC section, you'll see. your SES light on? if not, your not going to get any codes or it may be a bad light
seems like you've already found your error though...
perhaps its time to drop your tank and switch your in-tank fuel pump
