Just a quick question about how much HP needed for 10s

I was just curious, how much horsepower does it take to get into the 10s? Assume the chassis has been beefed up to handle the power, and it is running DOTs, but other than that, a stock-bodied thirdgen. How heavy are we, anyway? 3400, 3600lbs?

How large a stall could you see running, what's the most gear,, and the largest dot tire you'd be willing to run on it? Ball park not knowing these, you'd need a minimum of 550 horses in a 3550 lb car with driver set up mostly for the strip, and 580 - 600 horses,,, with stall, gear, and tire size set up mainly for street.
