350 w/LT4 cam

Ok, I am building a 350 for my conv. I have a 30over 350 with ported alum heads. I am buying a edelbrock intake and ported plenum. Will the LT4 cam be to much for it or can the setup handle it? I want a good street motor with the ability to run some autocross in the summer. Basiclly I want a good all around motor.

If you're getting the ported intake, and have ported heads, that cam will work great. I'm putting one in my new engine.

No idea, I havent put the engine in my car yet. Tom Keliher, along with other people around here, are using that cam with an aftermarket intake and good heads, and making very nice power. I'm hoping for mid 12's and over 325 HP at the wheels.

are you using the 1.5 or 1.6 What kind of lift can I expect with 1.5 or can I use them?

I'm using 1.52 roller rockers so the lift will be about .498". With 1.5's its .492" and with 1.6's is .525". You can use whatever rockers you want, as long as your springs will handle the lift.

Very carefully. And no, I'm not paying someone either.

The stock rockers are 1.5:1. So the LT4 Hot Cam lift with stock rockers is .492"/.492".

Dan, how does your car act on the street? Idle, and drivability? Thanks,

Jeremy
