385 Fastburn?

I have a friend that has a motor he WANTS to give me...it's a 385 Fastburn.

First...will this fit into my 86 Berlinetta w/ 305. and is it a direct fit
or will I have to mod the mounts?
Second...What would be the HP in my car?
Third...What supporting mods should I do before dropping this
motor in?

He said I need to buy heads for it....is there any special heads for it and where can I get them?

Well the motor mounts are in the same location as your 305 and everything should bolt right up. Now what are you going to do as far as induction. The fast burn 385 is a carb set-up. Do you currently have a carb set-up? Can your suspension and tranny support the power? Is your fuel suystem up to par? That motor should come with the fast burn GM heads unless he took them off. They are really good heads. that motor was rated at 385 hp with the GM set-up on it. Now that number will change depending on whether you change the heads, cam or induction. It will make more power most likely than your current set-up and should make for a nice project.
