Estimated Power???

Hey guys I am building a new motor with some upgraded Vortec heads so they can take lift, Performer RPM Intake,Edelbrock 750 carb, XE 274 cam, And say around 9.3 to 1 compression.

Id say around 350 hp , and 400 tq. But thats just a guess, sounds like a good combo. I knew a guy running almost your exact combo in an 80's el camino and he was running 13.2's on drag radials , so It sounds like you have a nice setup. Good Luck.

That cam would love a little more compression...like in the 9.8 and up range. With that relatively large cam and that low compression it will be a bit soggy on the lower end....maybe think xe268?
