I have been looking and cannot find any major buildups for 327's
My dad's friend is giving me a 327-365 thats in his impala( he's getting a 409)
I want to spruce it up a bit, but have no clue how too
You guys never cease to amaze me so..thought I would give it a try
Thanks for all your help again

They build-up like any other small block. We need a little more info on what you planning to do with it, and what setup your car has.

Your accessories won't bolt to it, if it has the original heads.
Assuming you want to put it into your 87:
You could use your 305 heads on the short block, if it has flat-tops. Then your accessories would work. If you do that, get 1.94" intake valves put in them, and port them. Use a cam somewhere around 210-215° of intake duration, and as near .500" of lift as you can. Something like the Comp XE262. Obviously you need headers, exhaust, etc. You'll need a LH dipstick oil pan, and a 83-85 305 F-car flywheel. With those parts it will bolt right in and run OK, alot better than your 305 even if not quite as well as a 350 would.

OK, I thought so, I was just wondering
I am taking out my 305 and starting from scratch
I am going to sell my 305 as a mater of fact, it only has 33,000 on it.
I am planning on porting the old iron heads, headers, exhaust, victor jr intake, and CSI 2 inch carb spacer. I was wondering more on cam, and carb more then anything.
Also does anyone know what compression it has, I heard 11.0:1 and that worries me
Thanks alot for your help guys

When you take your heads off, then you can calc the CR based on what the piston vol, head vol, and deck clearance is.
I'm working on a 327 too. It's almost ready, I'm sure it will be a good motor. But in hindsight, I wish I'd bought forged pistons instead of the hypereutectic flattops I'm using, cause hypereutectics put limitations on future power adder usage.
Flattops are a good choice, a 64cc head can give you 9.75:1 CR (zero decked) and if you want to go higher than that, you can mill the heads.

Are they worth that much?
I mean if they are I will tell my friend to sell the damn thing
I was looking and they only made that engine for a few years.
Any ideas what something like that would be worth?
