check engine light is on
my check engine light is on in my '89 iroc and i checked the code and its code 34..which has somethin to do with the MAF, but i dont know what..its not a loose electrical connection but with all the wires in the car who knows. There shouldnt be anything wrong with the MAf because i bought it about 3 months ago. since then the car was running great. can someone please help me figure out whats wrong with it? thanks

year and model? have you checked the relay? they're normally located closest to the fender next to the brake booster IIRC...

Your code 34 means "Mass Air Flow Sensor circuit (GM/SEC LOW). Check your air duct for cracks or tears and your throttle body to see if it is dirty and check your tps for proper adjustment.

i had the same problem with my 89 firebird formula, if your car is running very ruff and keeps dieing out then its time to change that mass air flow sencer
