Ok finally got the money for new engine.

Ok I posted a while back with some ?'s about what to buy. I've narrowed it down a lot and just need some opinions on if this is acceptable or if this is just a waste of $$$. I'm running a 350. It has a newly built stock bottom end. I was thinking of getting some 69cc heads (stock). I was gonna get the Comp Cam XE 262H kit.

Specifications:
* Duration at .050 in. cam lift: 218 intake/224 exhaust
* Gross valve lift: .462 in. intake/.469 in. exhaust
* Lobe separation: 110 degrees
* RPM range: 1,300 to 5,600, noticeable idle

A set of summit racing steel roller rockers and a set of stock pushrods from Summit.

I'm gonna put a set of hooker shorties on it, Want long tubes but ground clearance is shot due to the lowering.

I have an Edelbrock 750cfm carb, not sure of model number and an edelbrock performer intake again not sure of specs.

Now I'm not sure about the rockers and the pushrods. I will upgrade if it is required I'm just not sure on that aspect. SO I guess my question is... Will this combo work ok? Will I need a performace ignition? Should I get a new distributor? ANy suggestions?

About those summit steel roller rockers.
If they're the ones that look like a stamped factory rocker with a roller on it, look at getting something else. I got a set of those and they were full of burrs in all the wrong places. I sent them back and got Comp.

i'd spend a little more and get the comp rockers, only rockers i use. i'd also not run anything from edlebrock, but a lot of people do. check you've geometry before you buy aset of stovck length push rods. why are you replacing push rods anyway?

No commment on the edelbrock As for the pushrods I'm worried that they may be bent. I was being stupid and not paying attention one day while ajusting the lash on the engine. Well basicly I tightened them down to tight. Broke one and possibley bent some others on the drivers side. Just don't want to take any chances.
