fuel psi
I'm just wondering what you guys are running out there. I know 3rdgen states somethin like 58ft/lbs max gain by changing from 42 to 50psi, that sounds like a bit of a stretch to me though.. I'm running a stock 89 tpi350. Any opinions/suggestions would be appreciated.

Max pis for carb is 8 or the float pintle wont close. On injectors max psi is 75 or injector wont close. For a stock motor use 40 to 45 or your just gonna kill fuel milage.

too high of fuel psi does shorten fuel pump life. if you raise the fuel psi you milage will go down depending how long you run in open loop. once it goes to closed the ecm will see it is rich and will take away fuel. (see you block learn and fuel intergrater) the power increase is from the fuel being atomised better more like when you take a spray bottle and squeeze the trigger real slow and the squeeze real fast same Idea. the injector does the same thing. the ecm just cuts down on the pulses when it see how rich it is running.
