Cyl. head question (egr w/vortec & aftermarket)
Ok, here goes...
I know that vortec heads do not have a provision for EGR, but think I remember reading in some thread a few weeks back about an EGR setup that did not flow through the heads and could be used with vortecs. I am just kind of worried that with a cam swap (I would do heads at the same time) I will need to have a working EGR system in order to pass emissions. So, I can either try to figure out that EGR tube or whatever it was or try some other set of heads. Do aftermarket heads have EGR provisions like standard chevy heads? If they do, that would probably be the way to go, except for the cost issue. Thanks.
