Won't Fire...

I'm in North Dakota...and last night we hit -30 / -60 with the wind chill. The car won't start.
I thought maybe the battery was killed.
I got another one. Tossed that puppy in there,
and it still won't fire. The voltage thingy *sorry, I don't know what it's called, but it's the gauge on my dash*, usually runs at just above 13. Right now it's right above the red.
I was thinking, from reading some of the threads here that I might have some ice in the gas? and the fuel injection might be clogged? I don't have a garage, so I'm kinda stuck trying to figure something out. What could it be? Any ideas? I'd be so grateful.
oh yeah, it's an 88 camaro

thanks!

Two batteries, not likely to be alternator. Cold temperatures. Check the condition of the oil and coolant. Oil starts to look like thick goo in cold weather and doesn't flow very well especially if it has not been changed in a while. Check coolant to see if it has frozen or has ice in it. Some batteries tend to lose their charge quickly in cold weather.

If the volts on your gage were reading just over 13 and now its just above red. 11 or so right? Id say its your alternator. Whats the condition of it? Is your choke/alternator light on. I replaced mine and now I get nothing but around 14 volts. If it sounds like it wants to turn it could be a few things. Did you charge your battery and see if its turns over. Maybe the plugs are bad?
