TB Bypass hose question...

I used a piece of hose from my removed AIR system. Is this hose good enough for coolant?
Thanks

You sure about that Blade? I don't recall AIR hoses being more than simple rubber hoses with no reinforcement. Not what i'd call peace of mind for running 15 psi 220' coolant through. I'm not saying you're wrong, i'm just wondering how sure you are. And is it worth the $5 worth of hoses to risk being stranded because of it?

Radiator and heater hose is reinforced with nylon thread. AIR hoses are not. Dont do it.

I used a piece of 5/8" air conditioning piping to connect the two hoses that were already there.. works like a charm, although it's a tight fit between the TPS and and the alternator bracket.

I did the same thing and used the air hose. Seems good enough to me and never had a problem for two years now...

I wouldnt Do it, But On the other Hand, that Rubber hose is rated around 75PSi, So in theory It shouldnt Be a problem.

But Hose is Cheap, Dont risk it.
