Reinstalling valve covers.

I'm tring my damnedest to get my valve covers on. Only it's not working very well, the motor is in the car still. I get the driver side on but it wont seat all the way, and the pasenger side all them wires in the back are make it imposible. Any pointer will be greatly welcome.

if they're center bolts i believe the bolts holes are a little off center, if so you may have them up side down.

They have a definite "intake" and "exhaust" side. You probably have it backwards.

Well I almost resorted to doing this but it seems like you should give it a try. jack up the front of the car on stands and then unplug the pass side coolant temp sensor and the fan stuff that comes off the harness on that side...then you can unhook all the other stuff that plugs in near the top easily and move the entire harness out of the way to get that thing back on. Like I said, I put a hel! of a lot of strain on my wire harnesses to get the cover back on and probably should've disconnected stuff but oh well. Good luck.
