Man, this IS a busy place...

In case you hadn't noticed, the Tech/General board has had nearly 5,000 topics and over 28,000 posts since "Black Friday", last July. No wonder I'm sleep-deprived.

Not completely tech, but an interesting statistic.

well not entirely, over 4000 of the topics are repetes that is a lot of topics and replies. this board gets more traffic by far then the other boards here and for the most part it has not had any major problems. the general tech also has the best moderators of all the boards here.

Yeah I haven't seen a board that even comes close to this one. It is by far the best. Sorry I'm somewhat new what was Black Friday? When this thing was started??

327 firebird, last july we had some problems with the content of the non tech board (that's why we're tech only now) and some insultes were directed towards differant members, moderators, and the adminstrators and we were shut down for a month or so. as you all can see we're back bigger and better. that's the big reson i'll lock a thread if it looks like it might develope into a flame war, besides anyone is free to repost if they have something to say. on the other hand all of us want you all to keep dropping by and having fun and learning a thing or two. i'm suprised the people that e mail me directly wanting help, i never figured i knew that much.

Ok now, it sounds as though we have some conceited moerators here (at least one!)

Just kidding! Everyone here has been pretty helpful. I'm pretty impressed with how patient people are with repeat topics, though.

I really appreciate any help I've gotten from here, and would like to ask everyone to keep up the good work!

next to working in a speedshop or garage, reading the posts on here everyday is the best way to learn about cars in general that I have ever come across. compared to the "seller biased" info that performance part manufacturers put out and the limited amount of supposed "real world" buildups they do in hi-po mags, this web site's tech content is like an encyclopeidia entitled
HOW TO GO FAST IN YOUR THIRDGEN.

Keep the gas burning and the crank turning.
