Headlights?

Well either my bulb blew out or the whole damn thing went out.
The passenger side headlight went out when in low beam but when I hit the high beams they both work fine. Is it just a bulb or do I have to replace the whole damn thing? Or is it a fuse or something.....

I just did a search for Headlights and read on some post that it is hard as hell and a PIA to change the headlights. Please tell me thats wrong,,,,,it sure looks easy....tell me it is.....

It's the whole big square thing. Takes about 5 minutes, costs about $6.50. Take off the 2 screws on the top of the black trim ring, loosen the 2 bottom ones about 2 turns each; pop the trim ring out; the bulb will fall out; unplug, replug, put the trim ring back on. The only hard part is getting the trim ring back under the 2 bottom screws. Don't take them all the way out if you can avoid it because when you drop them they disappear into Hell and you'll never find them.

RB,

I beg to differ. You'll usually find at least one of them embedded in the tread of one of your rear tires. Must be some kind of weird Zen/physics thing, but I seem to find a lot of my dropped screws (and everyone else's) in that manner. So if you're missing a piece of hardware, check there first.

Well I replaced both of them and it wasnt that hard. Heres a little tip: dont plug the light up before you stick it in the hole, that way you got some room to manuver the clips on the bottom around the screws....

I got the "cool Blues" any problem with those?

Are they way to bright for driving?

I can always take them back..

They should be ok. I just put a set of piaa super plasma bulbs in and they look great. They are kinda expensive, but I really like the way they look. They look a lot better than the hellas I had in there before.
