The seat belts in my '89 fit loosely and I have to constanly tug on the belt to get tension from it. Do they just wear out or is this how they are for these cars?

Mine does it too. Did it on my old 86TA also. Must be common.

They never were much for being tight to begin with when these cars were new, but they get worse over time. Might be dirt or something building up in the retractor, Im not sure.
