I knew someone with 272,000. My 87 iroc-z has 138,000, and 89 formula 350 has 125,000 on it, Formula looks fairly new still though, and original paint. Check site.

Back when I was looking for a 3rd gen I looked at a camaro with 346k on it. I had a buddy with 276k on a formula, and I have another buddy with 178k on his GTA.

My 91 rs 3.1 has 296,000 on the odometer + anywere from 10-15 thousand. Original owners (my cousins) rebuilt engine and forgot to hook up the cable right. or it may have been in the dash i cant remember.
i bought it wrecked for $700 with a $500 system with 233,000 on it. Got my use out it till tranny lost D overD 2 3 still got R and 1. If you get up to 15mph then shift into Drive it will drive fine till you stop then drop back to 1.

1991 GTA w/ 265,000 + miles on the original motor and it runs 14.60's all day long.

So nuch for all that oriental hype about Hondas being "durable". I think the 305 seems like the high-mileage engine of choice, but that 189 V-6 is doing some pretty impressive stuff, too.
Obviously, you people believe in routine maintnenace.

When I was looking to replace my 88 I found a Formula on Long Island with 371K on the original 305. That was in 1999, I wonder if that car's still on the road with the same engine....
The T/A's got 322K to catch up.

HAHA, that was histerical. I can't belive they ripped that thing up like they did. Yeah, that's what i'm lookin to do, except with a TA that's going to be in great shape. Get a car with a v8 TPI engine in it so I can have a remote start, have remote gear select, steering and accel/brakes obviously, remote line lock (for remote burnouts!), and maybe even a remote flame thrower... that'd all be sweet, and I'm definately going to do it... just not for like 3-4 years.
that one has me laughing so hard I have tears. I have thought about doing that but, watching the video is just fine

how does that happen on a street car? That has to be driven like 12 hours a day every day!!! That's crazy! Couldn't have been the original engine, how much were they asking for it?Originally posted by 330hp_91RS

Theres some dude with an original VW bug that's got over a million miles on it. He was going around the country right about when he had 900k on it, and everyone was putting him on the local news. Crazy ****!

My Uncle had a 91 chevy stepside . I dont even think the stepsides were out that year , i could be wrong , but I think it was converted by someone before it came out . Anyway , it had over 200k miles on it but a masarati ran into the back of him doing like 90 and it lifted the whole damn back end of the truck off the ground and totalled it .
I loved that truck to !my 1991 RS has 185,xxx miles on it, and my 1985 suburban has 184,xxx. the paint and everything on the RS is original (but the original 305 is modded of course) and in good shape. the suburban is all original, but in much worse condition. the original carbed 350 is so-so (after much towing), needs valvetrain work, but runs well enough for daily driving. it also has the original TH350, but it's torn up too, as are the rear gears. i wrecked it about a week ago, which doesn't help the rusted body much. but it still runs, and i'd definitely take it over any civic
.
