Yes, there are quite a few of us here. Just send them an e-mail when you see there address.
However, the moderators get a little miffed when people post non-tech questions on the board. All non-technical and "social" invitiations should be posted at www.nethirdgen.org

Actually, I just noticed that Dirk added a "Regional Board". Since there are a number of us Canadians here (I know quite a few in the Vancouver area and I think there are another half dozen in Calgary that regularly post), why don't you ask Dirk to create a "Canadian Board" within the Regional Board?
Then people in a general area could arrange "meetings and get togethers", which is what the Regional Board is for.
It would also be useful for sharing information on where to get parts. As you are probably aware, performance parts in Canada can be either difficult to get or expensive. And ordering something from the US is not always the answer. Some American companies flat-out refuse to handle Canadian orders or, if they do, the shipping cost gets quite expensive.
Vancouver has only one real "performance parts dealer" that's half decent, and you are limited to the parts he carries and they are not exactly cheap. I would be interested in knowing performance parts dealers in the Calgary area as I am only 6 hours away.
I know I had a heck of time getting my eprom buring equipment. I tried virtually every electronics store in the Vancouver area and most didn't have a clue of what I was wanting. And the one or two that did, had crumby equipment and very expensive. I ended up ordering from the US to get all of my eprom burning equipment.
I think it is an idea that Dirk might like. But the board would have to "self displined" and related to meeting and sharing of information. If it became a "Non-Technical Board" for guys to BS with each other, it would get shut down real quick.
