is there a big diffrence?

if u had 2 thidgens both with same engine and same mods..everthing the same except one had posi and the other did not, how would a race between them turn out?? what would be the diffrence in seconds in a 1/4 run??

I would guess that if they were identical down to the gears BESIDES limited-slip and open rear...it would really depend on the amount of power the engine made...the limited slip would be more benificial for getting power to the ground at higher horsepower ratings, but stock I would guess they would run pretty much the same time.

ok lets say both r not stock..both thirdgens had the same mods as i do (in sig). would there be a diffrence? if so by how much??

Well, with an open rear and that setup you'd prolly see a good bit of wheel spin and your all around times would suffer...poor 60', higher ET, trap might remain the same or drop a little.

With limited slip I'd bet money you'd see a much better 60' and launch/run all around.

it's not something you can quantify in terms of et since you don't know the mods or lack of mods. the posi equipped car shold be quicker in 60' than the non posi car. same would hold true in et at 1320'.
