Opinions Please, XE266+AFR190's
XE266 with AFR190's. Is anyone on here running this cam and head setup? I'm hoping for over 400hp n/a to the wheels. By desktop dyno this setup seems to match up pretty nicely but I have heard of many people running the XE274 cam with the same heads. But that cam looked to peak to high for a stock bottom end to effectively use.
I'm also going to be running Hooker LT's 1-3/4" and probably a HSR on this combo.
Opinions please.

What's the XE266? I'm running the hydraulic, flat tappet XE268 on a slightly wider 114* LSA, 1.6 rockers. AFR 190 heads on a 383 short block.
390HP to the rear wheels through an old 3 speed automatic.
HOWEVER, that's with a Weiand 142 roots blower shoving 5 PSI into the engine. And I'm still not at 400 RWHP. Just factoring in the usual 20% loss through the drivetrain that puts me at about 480HP at the crank.
Just no way you're getting a REAL 400 to the rear wheels with that combo unless you put a plate system on it. 400 actual at the rear wheels is about 475-500HP at the crank, depending on the type of tranny you're using. That's a lot of HP for a bolt-together small block to make N/A.
That combo on a 383 with decent compression, carb and exhaust and a rather large XE 282 solid lifter cam MIGHT stand a shot at getting you to that HP level. Or maybe a roller cam of similar specs would get it done. The little flat tappet 268 just ain't gonna get it done.
