Hello guys,
Hey I just recieved a performer RPM intake for vortec heads I bought on ebay. Here is my question, thier are two pipe thread holes that are on either side of where the carb mounts. They seem to be both on the same passage that goes under the carb. What do these two holes do? The performer does not have them nor does the air gap, just the RPM intake has them and I would like to know what purpose they serve. Thanks for your help. Dennis

 

I just plugged them off on my RPM Vortec, I forget what they are but you shouldn't need them... I'll see if I can look it up in my manual for mine...

 

I am curious also, I didnt know they came like that. My Vortec Performer does not have those holes, but I'm interested...

Optional Plenum Heat Passage... Same kind of deal as the throttle body coolant supply on the TPI motors...
