Well since you said "additive" then my answer is Techron.
The best way to clean fuel injectors on the car is with a fuel injection cleaning kit. It's a canister (pressurized) that holds a concentrated cleaning solution with a line that attaches to the test port on the fuel rail. the engines fuel pump is disabled and the engine is run off of the cleaner until it is empty. Let the car sit for 10 minutes and then enable the fuel pump and drive.
