Well since you said "additive" then my answer is Techron.

The best way to clean fuel injectors on the car is with a fuel injection cleaning kit. It's a canister (pressurized) that holds a concentrated cleaning solution with a line that attaches to the test port on the fuel rail. the engines fuel pump is disabled and the engine is run off of the cleaner until it is empty. Let the car sit for 10 minutes and then enable the fuel pump and drive.

Not cheap. Your best bet is used at EBay. I picked up mine there new for $330. It does 97% of all cars made (fuel injection of course). I spent the money because i have 5 cars myself and only one is carbed. My friends and neighbors use it too. I have got my moneys worth because the dealer gets around $75-100 to do a on car fuel injection cleaning.

Here's the link to my EBay purchase.
