That thing have a 1/4" collet? most tools for porting use that size. Electric die grinders go really fast, around 40,000 rpm, that's way to fast unless you can turn down the speed to around 12-13,000 RPM. I use an angled air die grinder, but have used a straight one just as well.

Here's how you can control the speed of an electric die grinder that doesn't have a speed setting.

Nifty...i've heard of that, and it was even recommended in my little "porting guide" that came with my standard abrasives kit. Good idea though. I personally like an air grinder as it's smaller and easier to control for me. I do kinda have little hands tho.

So this Dremel would work...
It does have a 1/4 inch collet.
It varies between 10k and 35k RPM's.
It also comes with a hand held tool for small carving and stuff.....
I just don't wanna burn it up. It did cost a couple bux.
And you know how those warranty people are...!!
Just didn't know if the thing had enough A$$ to pull a job like this.

Maybe if I paint a little bow tie on it......
