How Much CFM's for 305 heads?
1. What is the stock cfm flow number for an 89 305, tpi head(swirl type)?
2. Would you recommend using a 1.6 valve on the exhaust side?
I will be doing a cam swap soon.
Thanks guys.

I don't know-- I do know that it's tight. I did a 1.5/1.94 combination. Here's what the chamber looks like when you add a 1.94 intake valve to the centerbolt 305 head:
I had to correct the shrouding around the intake valve by opening up the combustion chamber. You might have similar problems if you add a 1.6 exhaust. You'll also need to extensively port the exhaust to take advantage of the bigger valve.
