Intake selection! 415cui
This is not a general HSR vs SR topic this is about what intake should work best in my car........
First I know both are great intakes depending on what you want to achive... But right now I'm torn between them.... Will be a steet engine and will NOT rev beyond 5700rpm therefor I cant figure out what intake works the best...... Ive read ALOT about them both and it seems like the SR wont rev so high with a 415cui and the HSR is maybe too big?
Set up.
-415cui
-9.0 comp
-Jegs 197cc heads
-224/236 .544/.554 with 1.6 RR cam
-SLP 1.3/4 headers
-TH700 with 3.23 rear
-58mm TB
So please comment what intake would be best for MY setup?
/N.

If I were doing it, I would use a MiniRam.
But given the choice between the 2 you are considering, I'd go with the StealthRam.
You have a SuperRam so you already know what its pitfalls are. Personally I would not use one of those on my own car because of the hassle factor.
The StealthRam will easily support the power level you are likely to achieve with the rest of your combo and the low RPM limit you are establishing for it.
I think the CR you're calling for is a bit lower than it should be; I'd shoot for something closer to 9.5.

comp is set to 9.0 becaurse of my 9-12 psi boost I will be adding later this year.....
Ski_ peaked his 406 at 5150rpm with his SR so with my 415 I'm afraid peak Hp will be too low with a SR...
