roller lifters and new cam
roller lifters and new cam
can you reuse the old roller lifters with a new cam? I really hate to pay for a new set $$ when the old ones will work fine.
Thanks,
Jeremy

yes hydrolic roller lifters are reusable, if there isn't any wear or damage.

I see in your signature that you have 3.42 gear with 5speed transmission. Do you like this gear? Performance vs gas fuel. I have the choice between 3.42 and 3.73, will i regret if i take 3.73 ?

I just put the 3.42's in and love them. I picked up about 300 rpm in fifth compared to the 3.08 so gas mileage hasn't droped to much. I think 3.73 will be a little steep for me, but rpms should not go up to much more. It all depends on what you are using the car for. On the street and autoX like me, the 3.42 really woke the car up. Hope this helps, any other ques feel free to e-mail me. Thanks for the help ede, that saves a few dollars
