O-Ring for Dipstick Tube?

Is there any type of o-ring or someting like that for sealing the dipstick tube into the block?

RTV is what you use.

That will work, or you can use a non hardening sealer (thats what I use) or Permatex aviation sealer (my friends favorite, but dont ever try to take it out again).

I've seen o-rings on some dipstick tubes, but like Mkos said, a thin coating of RTV usually works best on small block Chevys.
