Can someone help me figure out compression ratio
Hey I have 9.0:1 comp with 76cc heads right now what would it be if I went to a 64cc heads...I am on a tight budget and the pro lightning heads are cheap and all but the vortecs fit my budget better....

I think 10:1 or so is streetable. Do a search, im sure this has been brought up before.
If it were me, 10.5:1 for cast iron, maybe 11:1 for aluminim is the maximum i would run for compression with 93 octane.
Im goig to be running a larger cam however that will be keeping that compression in check.

the XE274 is a very strong cam. There are several members who run that cam with no problems. Its a milder cam than the one im using. You should be fine.

You'll be fine on compression. The vortecs will be a nice upgrade.
