Well, my car was vibrating (steering wheel jumping) when I got up around 60 or so, and when I hit the brakes even worse. I figured, tires out of balance right. Well, got the tires balanced today and that took care of the driving shake but the shake is still there when I hit the brakes. Could this be the rotors warped or something. Guy said he had recently replaced the brakes, but i havn't pulled off the tires and looked yet. What else would make the steering wheel shake and make the car vibrate when I hit the brakes. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Jason

 

brake rotors are warped. if they are making the steering wheel shake that bad then its better to put new ones on than machine 'em. replacing brakes usually means just the pads.
