Idle problem....

I have an idle problem as stated. I didn't have my books or the internet working at the time so i tried to remember it off the top of my head. The idle with IAC disconnected was about a needle width below 500 and barely idleing. Some i reconnected the iac. Tried to go a little lower, car died and i just screwed the adjuster screw back a little bit more. still idles at 750 no matter what i do. Could this be caused by a vacuum leak? I didn't see any while i was under the hood. Anything i did wrong maybe? i jumped A & B, turnt key 'on' and then waited 30 seconds. (engine was not running) Then disconnected iac, turnt key off and then removed jumper wires. Started car and adjusted idle. Then turnt the key off, reconnected IAC. What did i do wrong? if anything... Something i should look for?

-Flowmaster Catback
-Performance Resource Chip
-700R4 (Rebuilt) Too much done to actually list
-K&N Airfilters
-Ported Plenum
-2.77 Gears (not much to brag about but eh, its there)
-MSD 8.5 mm plug wires
-Problems every other day with the car (probably not a mod, but to me it sure makes a difference)

If its idling at 750 in park, thats totally normal. The computer actually controls the idle speed, so if you want to change where its at you have to get into the chip.
The procedure for setting the IAC and TPS are in the tech area, I dont remember offhand how to do it. Sounds like you did it right tho IIRC. Remember to reset the TPS when you are done, it may have gone out of parameter depending on how much you moved the throttle plates.
