Vacuum/Fuel problem?

I have a 1992 Camaro RS 305 5.0L and there is a loud vacuum sound(no lines visibly disconnected), especially when the engine is cold. I think it is also contributing to my poor fuel economy. Any suggestions on what can be done. Thanx

first things first.. you have to find it!

easieast way to do that is to use your ears... and hands.. listen and poke around till you find it.. then repair it!

some carb/choke cleaner is the tried true way of finding them too.. spray in a specific area.. away from the aircleaner as well as you can... till the idle perks up.. and look right in there.
