I got a quote to have some work done on my 87 L98 block, here are the prices they gave me, is this too expensive?

Eh, not too bad. Looks a little high on the head machine work and balancing, but some of the stuff is less that what Ive used here.

25 bucks for paint tho? I'd save some cash there

 

For $175 to bore the block, they better include using torque plates.

 

cost 65 here to bore a block. i machine and do my own studs, didn't know it cost so much.
