Open Element or Dual Snorkel Intake?

Which has more benefits and why? Also, which one will deliver more performance?

Open element advantage over dual snorkel:

Cheaper
Lower price
Doesn't as cost much

Dual snorkel advantages over open element:

Engine makes more power
All PCV hooks back up correctly
Emissions legal
Fits properly
Flows better (compared to typical "drop base" air cleaners taht locate the lid too close to the air horn)
Delivers dense cold air instead of thin hot air
Quieter
