ok to soak assembled heads in kerosene?

my valves, CC and runners have a little bit of carbon buildup on them, i just want clean them off easily by soaking them in some kerosene or gasoline.

Can this be done and not mess up the valve guides or valve seats? Im going to replace the valve seals of course.

What about OHC heads? With the cam and rockers still installed?

If they need to be dissasembled, then it probably not worth the time. Just a little bit of buildup on them anyways.

It won't hurt anything, including the carbon buildup.

I'd suggest leaving it alone if you're not going to tear them/it down.
