intake or head gasket leak?

ok, before u guys start, i did a search.but an inconclusive one.ive got an 85 berlinetta, lg4 mostly stock.ive had what looks like condensation on my dipstick off an on since ive had it(at least thought was cond.)anyhow i rec. got a new carb, and its been ok. well, idle started fluctuating today. checked tune of carb, was fine.checked dipstick(gotta serious phobia of head gasket blowin)cond. there again.pulled carb, was gonna change base gasket(in case was leakin). well, when i pulled it off, i noticed greenish goo residue in intake.im not losin coolant, have lost power(runs like there a blanket over air cleaner.no white smoke or usual head gasket symptoms.im assumin its the intake gaskets.just wanted to see what you guys with camaro experience think, if it head or intake gaskets.thanks alot guys, in advance.

Mine were leaking around the water passages after about 135k/15 years, so I pulled the intake and replaced the gaskets (ended up replacing the manifold, but that wasn't my original intent).

It was only leaking to the exterior, though, but there's no particular reason why they couldn't leak to the valley.

Oh, my EGR passages were completely plugged up when I pulled it off. Ran better with the clean passages of the new intake.
