more aluminum driveshaft questions

i keep hearing that the 4th gen drive shafts WONT work...then on the other hand people here say it WILL work...

what would be the better one to use....the LS1 3.0 drive shaft im assuming......

but what defines the LS1 drive shaft from looking at a pic.....i cant tell a difference ....ugh

the only diffrent length ones were the 82s and some 83s that came with diffrent trans then the 700R4, T5, T56 or the electric shifted auto whos name i can never remember.
and if you get a driveshaft loop, keep in mind that the LS1 alum one is wider.
